Meet the Teacher

Hello! My name is Elizabeth Steele and I am the 4th grade Language Arts teacher.  I was born and raised in Tecumseh, a small town in Michigan. I am now a proud Texan and live in League City with my husband, Rick, two dogs and three cats! As you can tell we love animals! We also have two grown children, Corey and Cally, both who live and work in the Houston area.

This is my fourth year at Odyssey Academy.  I have been in education for many years working with a variety of ages including senior citizens. Now, I finally have my dream job, teaching language arts to children.

What I enjoy most is spending time with my family and friends. I also love to read and write,walk on the beach, sleep, learn new things, listen to music and practice yoga.

I look forward to getting to know all of my students and their parents/families. It’s going to be a fabulous year!
