Classroom Expectations and Protocol

Love and Logic is the approach I use in managing the expectations of the classroom. This allows the student to be responsible for choices and actions.

How I Will Run My Love and Logic Classroom

I will treat you with respect so you will know how to treat me.

Feel free to do anything that doesn’t cause a problem for anyone else.

If you cause a problem, I will ask you to solve it.

If you can’t solve the problem or choose not to, I will do something.

What I will do will depend on the special person, and the special situation.

If you feel something is unfair, whisper to me, “I’m not sure that’s fair,” and we will talk.

4^th Grade Behavior & Discipline Protocol

• 1st offense: Student has opportunity to fix the problem
• 2^nd offense: Teacher fixes the problem, student completes  a ” Refocus” in classroom.
• 3^rd offense: Ramp referral is made and the student is sent to Impact.  Parent is contacted
