Dear Parents,
Your fourth grader has learned a lot this year but it is not over yet. There are still many more lessons to be taught. For the rest of the month in Social Studies your child will be learning about effective leaders and individuals who have impacted history. Your child was assigned a project entitled Celebrating Our Leaders on May 2nd. They must research information on this important historical figure and complete the project requirements. I have included the requirements with this letter.
This important project will count as 3 major grades toward your child’s end of the year Social Studies report card average. It is extremely important that your child work hard to make the best use of their time and complete this project effectively and successfully. There are many resources that may help your child with this project including the local library, the school library, and the internet. If you have any questions about this project please call (409) 750-9289.
Sincerely,
JaMika Harris
