Mrs. Partlow’s Behavior Management Calendar

 

My expectations for my classroom are very simple.  I expect my students to:

• have helping hands,
• have listening ears,
• have looking eyes,
• use quiet voices, and
• use walking feet. 

 

I use the color system – green, yellow and red.  My students begin each day on green.  I will give 3 warnings before the student will have to move his or her clip.  The warnings give me the opportunity to talk with the student and explain what behavior I expect in my classroom. If the student has to move his or her clip to red, then he or she will have a 3 minute redirection. 

 

In your child’s folder there will be a behavior calendar that you need to review and sign daily.  If your child is on yellow or red, I will write down what behavior your child needs to work on. Please take the opportunity to speak with your child about my classroom expectations.  I believe that working together we can have a great year.
